Learning Management System (LMS) User Agreement

This User Agreement outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and conditions for all users accessing the Gowrie Victoria Learning Management System (LMS). They support a safe, respectful, and secure environment for professional learning.

Purpose

To establish clear expectations for appropriate use of the LMS and promote positive, professional participation.

Scope

This Agreement applies to all authorised users including educators, facilitators, staff, contractors, and partners.

Acceptable use

Users agree to:

Use the LMS for professional learning and educational purposes only

Communicate respectfully and professionally

Follow Gowrie Victoria policies and codes of conduct

Protect the privacy and safety of children, families, and colleagues

Use materials in accordance with copyright and licensing requirements

Unacceptable use

Users must not:

Share login credentials

Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

Misuse personal or confidential information

Copy, distribute, or reproduce materials without permission

Attempt to disrupt or interfere with system security

Accounts and access

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account. Gowrie Victoria may suspend or revoke access if these Terms are breached.

Privacy and data protection

Personal information is managed in accordance with Australian privacy legislation and Gowrie Victoria policies. Data is stored securely within approved systems.

Intellectual property

All course content, materials, and resources remain the intellectual property of Gowrie Victoria or the original creators and may be used for learning purposes only.

Child safety and images

Any images, videos, or identifying information about children aligns with Gowrie Victoria’s child safety standards and only be used where appropriate consent has been obtained.

Participation and conduct

Users are expected to contribute constructively and respectfully to discussions and learning activities.

System availability

Access may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues.

Monitoring and compliance

Activity may be monitored to ensure safety and compliance with this Agreement. Breaches may result in removal of content or loss of access.

Changes to this Agreement

This Agreement may be updated periodically. Continued use of the LMS indicates acceptance of any changes.
